Lineville man dead after single-vehicle crash Tuesday night

ASHLAND, Ala. –  A single-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Lineville man.

The crash occurred at 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, on Clay Co. Rd. 5, six miles south of Ashland.

According to Alabama State Troopers, James Tracy Vinson, 40, was killed when the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving left the roadway and overturned in a creek. Vinson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

No more information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
