Lincoln man killed in Tuesday crash

TALLADEGA, Ala. – A single-vehicle crash at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 13, claimed the life of a Lincoln man.

According to Alabama State Troopers, Michael Wayne Truss, 63, was killed when the pickup he was driving left the roadway and overturned on Stockdale Rd., three miles east of Talladega.

Truss, who Troopers said was not using a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
