Limited Fourth of July celebrations in the Talladega County area due to COVID-19

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Due to COVID-19 many venues in Talladega County and surrounding areas canceled their Fourth of July celebrations.

Here is a list of firework shows that will take place in surrounding areas:

Auburn

  • Independence Day Celebration: Fireworks display with drive-in viewing at Duck Samford Stadium, 1840 East Glenn Ave, 333 Airport Rd, and other nearby parking lots starting at 9 p.m.

Birmingham

  • Thunder on the Mountain (Vulcan Park): Firework display with choreographed music. Viewing areas throughout the city. Starting at 9 p.m.

Lake Martin Area

  • 4th of July Fireworks and Concert: Lake Martin Amphitheater starting at 7 p.m. Admission is $10.
