Legion Stadium received new U.S. Flag from Congressman Rogers


SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Legion Stadium has received a new U.S. Flag from Congressman Mike Rogers.

Congressman Mike Rogers has honored Legion Stadium in Sylacauga with the presentation of a U.S. Flag that has flown over the United States Capitol. Student Council officers of Sylacauga High School were joined by superintendent Dr. Todd Freeman, principal Chad Murphy, assistant principal Bennie Lewis, executive director of supporting programs Matt Hubbard, and SRO Harry Brown for the first raising of the new flag.

SHS Student Council officers are Tyler Carter, Bentley Walker, Vyshnavi Rallapalle, Alex Claire Hodges (President), Kassidy Poore, Frances Proctor, Will Henderson, Landon Owens, Anna Reeves, and Grace Abernathy.
