SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2023-24 Leadership Sylacauga class, starting in August 2023 and concluding in May 2024.
The program offers individuals with diverse backgrounds and talents the chance to understand the greater Sylacauga area and enhance their leadership potential.
Participants will be exposed to various sectors, including industry, business, government, education, healthcare, and quality of life.

Robert “Bob” Holmes, retired USAF Brig. Gen. and host of the Bull Gap Journal, will guide the class through the “Developing the Leader Within You 2.0 Workshop,” based on Dr. John C. Maxwell’s best-selling book.
The workshop equips participants with skills for intentional leadership and is certified by the John Maxwell Group.
The program will commence on August 24 and consist of monthly meetings until May 2024, concluding with a graduation dinner. The fee for each participant is $950.
