ROCKFORD, Ala. – A 57-year-old woman is missing in Coosa Co.
According to the Coosa County Sheriff’s Office, it received a call about a missing person in the Salem Community. Deputies were dispatched to the scene and learned 57-year-old Donna Lynn Brown had been missing from her home since 1:00 Wednesday morning.
Donna Lynn Brown left her sister-in-law’s, Nancy Davis, home on Browns Loop Road just after midnight and went to her home, also on Browns Loop Road. Donna’s husband, Herbert, told deputies she arrived to their home at approximately 12:30 a.m. Herbert said his wife was upset when she arrived to their residence, but calmed her down and convinced her to go to bed. When Herbert woke up, his wife was gone.
Coosa Co. Sheriff Terry Wilson told SylacaugaNews.com Davis and Herbert told deputies places to search and the department is actively searching in those places. Wilson is plead with anyone who has seen or contacted Donna Brown to contact the CCSO at 256-377-2211.
Donna Brown is a 5-foot 3 white female, weighing 150 pounds with gray eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, black pants, and blue and white tennis shoes.
