SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Monday’s Sylacauga Lady Aggies’ sub-region game against Briarwood has been postponed.
The game has been pushed back to Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 with the Sylacauga boys vs. Woodlawn following at 7:00.
“We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to the Flash Flood Warning and the safety of the traveling team, the Girls Basketball Sub-Regional Game is being rescheduled for tomorrow night at 4:30 p.m.,” said SCS Dir. of Athletics Debbie Barnett. “We look forward to seeing a packed house at the Douglass-Martin Gym tomorrow night.”
Fans wishing to attend both will have to purchase another ticket for the boy’s game. This is mandated by the Alabama High School Athletic Association. According to Jamie Lee of the AHSAA, a separate ticket will have to be purchased for both games for accounting purposes. Tickets for both games will be color-coded.
