SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga High School Golfer Lindsey Gordon signed a letter of intent on Jan. 19, 2018 to play golf at Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
Gordon is only the second Lady Aggie to play golf at the collegiate level. The Lady Aggies have been County Champions for the last five years. They also host a Boys and Girls Aggie invitational tournament each year with participating teams from around the state. For the past four years they have also been hosting first and second round state golf tournaments. The SHS Golf Teams (girls and boys) are coming off years where they finished in the top eight in the state. The Aggie Golf Teams are coached by Greg Lane.
SHS students are excited for Lindsey and her future at Millsaps. A press release from SHS stated , “We are all looking forward to sharing the Aggie Pride of Lindsey’s future achievements!”
Lindsey’s proud parents are Jason and Janet Gordon, and she has a younger sister named Megan.
