SYLACAUGA, Ala. – B.B. Comer Tiger standout Kamore Harris officially inked his commitment to the University of Memphis on Wednesday morning, Dec. 20.

The 6-foot, 230-pound senior running back and linebacker, a former Class 2A Back of the Year, caught the attention of the Memphis Tigers in during Harris’s junior campaign.

At his signing ceremony, Harris expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play for Memphis.

The 18-year-old, with a choice between linebacker and running back, ran for an impressive 1,626 yards and 28 touchdowns in his senior season, capping off a stellar high school career with 5,195 rushing yards and 73 touchdowns.

Memphis faced competition from UAB, Troy, Miami of Ohio, and Austin Peay for Harris’s commitment, but the Tigers stood tall, securing a promising talent for their roster.
