ALEXANDER CITY, Ala. – Central Alabama Community College (CACC) has named Justin McQueen as the new head tennis coach, the college announced Tuesday morning, May 28.
“We are excited to welcome Justin McQueen to our team,” said Jeff Lynn, CACC President. “His extensive coaching experience at various levels and his passion for developing young athletes make him the ideal leader for our tennis program. We are confident that his leadership will bring great success to our tennis teams and contribute to the growth of our athletics department.”
McQueen joins CACC with over five years of head coaching experience, including his recent role as head women’s tennis coach at Huntingdon College. At Huntingdon, he improved team performance and managed recruiting, training, and budgetary duties.
“I am excited to join Central Alabama Community College and eager to start working with the talented student-athletes here,” McQueen stated. “My goal is to build a program that competes at a high level, instills a lifelong passion for the sport, and emphasizes academic excellence among our athletes.”
McQueen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from Huntingdon College and is a Certified Tennis Professional (CTP) with the Professional Tennis Registry.
