CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – This week features the third Thursday in June, which means that downtown Childersburg will be hosting another in a series of Third Thursday Block Parties with special sidewalk sales, music, and more from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Organizers were hopeful that the first of Aaron Campbell’s new businesses, The Nevermore, would be ready to open with a delicious menu, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer. Campbell assures us that he’ll be a part of July’s event.
There’ll still be plenty of delicious food from downtown restaurants, such as Domino’s Pizza, The Chicken Coop, and Heavens Gold Cakes & More. This month, they’ll be joined by ShyTata, On the Cob, and more.
The gathering will center around the lot on the corner of 9th Ave. & 1st St. SW, but there’ll be attractions throughout the downtown area with some new vendors and exhibitors joining the mix.
