Inmate escapes from Childersburg Work Release Center on Saturday night


CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Daniel Miner, a 43-year old white male serving a 999 year, 99 month, 99 day sentence for murder in Marshall Co., has escaped from the Childersburg Work Release Center according to a late Saturday evening alert from the Alabama Department of Corrections.

Missing during a bed check between 8:45 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Miner is 5’6″ tall with blue eyes and brown hair and weighs 192 lbs. He was last seem dressed in state prison whites and has tattoos on his arms, neck, and back.

Miner was sentenced on July 25, 1994.
