SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Housing Authority has hired a former Mayor of the city as a public relations consultant.
Monday morning SHA announced it has hired Jesse Cleveland in the role.
Cleveland served as mayor of the Marble City from 1994-2000.
Along with handling public relations duties, Cleveland will handle public affairs and resident relations between those residing in SHA and the authority.
“The Sylacauga Housing Authority is proud to welcome Jesse Cleveland to our team. He brings with him years of valuable management experience,” said Pat Lozito in a statement released today. Lozito is the Chairman of the SHS Board of Directors. “We are excited to have the opportunity to work with such an influential figure. Please join us in welcoming Mr. Cleveland to the Sylacauga Housing Authority.”
Cleveland is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement, and serves as vice-chairman of the Coosa Valley Medical Center board.
