SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Heritage South Credit Union is set to host the inaugural Big Dill Pickleball Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, at the Sylacauga Tennis Center.
Participants can join for a registration fee of $15 per person and an additional $10 for each extra event, including singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. Therefore, if an individual signs up for all three competitions, the total cost will be $35.
Each player will receive a swag bag, medal, and lunch as part of their registration.
The games will commence at 10:00 a.m., promising a day filled with fun, camaraderie, and the chance to win prizes and trophies.
Concessions will be available on-site to keep participants energized and hydrated throughout the tournament.
The event aims to give back to the community, as all proceeds will benefit several local causes, including the Feral Dogs of Avondale Mills, the Sylacauga Beautification Council, DHR Christmas gifts, Palmer’s Place, and The Care House.
