SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Heritage South Credit Union (HSCU) has clinched a coveted spot on the prestigious list of the Best Companies to Work for in Alabama for 2023.
The recognition comes from the annual program in its fourteenth year, a joint initiative by Business Alabama magazine and the Best Companies Group.
This accolade signifies Heritage South Credit Union’s commitment to fostering a positive workplace environment, contributing to the state’s economic growth, and exemplifying excellence in employee relations.
The list, comprising 40 outstanding companies, reflects the diverse sectors contributing to Alabama’s thriving business landscape.
To qualify, participants had to meet specific criteria, including the following:
Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
Be a publicly or privately held business;
Have a facility in Alabama;
Have at least 15 employees in Alabama;
Be in business a minimum of 1 year
The evaluation process, split into two parts, scrutinized workplace policies, practices, and employee experiences.
Heritage South Credit Union’s outstanding performance earned the financial institution a well-deserved spot among the state’s top employers.
The final rankings will be unveiled in the December 2023 issue of Business Alabama.
