SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department (SPD) responded to a reported bank robbery at Heritage South Credit Union’s main branch located on Hwy 280 at approximately 9:25 a.m. Friday morning, Jan. 12.
An unidentified white male, concealed behind a medical mask, entered the bank and handed a note to the teller, demanding money.
The suspect fled the credit union with an undisclosed amount of currency. As of now, there are no known suspects, and a vehicle description is unavailable.
SPD investigators and Talladega County Drug and Violent Crime agents are actively engaged in the case, with FBI collaboration.
