Here’s a look at the Childersburg Kiwanis Club’s Rubber Duck Race winners

CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – It was a fun family day at the historic Kymulga Grist Mill Park as the Kiwanis Club of Childersburg held its second annual Rubber Duck Race which netted several thousands of dollars in support of projects aimed at enhancing the lives of area youth.

The winning ducks were adopted by:

1st Place: Brandon Brooks ($1,000 prize)

2nd Place: Connie Caldwell ($500 prize)

3rd Place: Robin Bagwell ($250 prize)

Gaye Powell of Kiwanis thanked those who adopted ducks for the fundraiser, saying, “Along with all our partners who provided adoption centers, we especially want to thank Dave Cartwright and Ron Smith of the Kymulga Grist Mill staff for all their work getting the race course set up and putting the ducks in the water for us!”
