SYLACAUGA, Ala. – During its October meeting, the Sylacauga City Schools Board of Education accepted the resignation of board member Heather Adair, who was appointed to the board in 2025.
Adair, a longtime parent volunteer in the school system, said she decided to step down because serving on the board limited her ability to participate in other volunteer roles.
She plans to remain involved in the school system through increased participation in school committees and other parent-led activities.
