SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Harbor Freight, the nation’s largest tool retailer, announced plans on Tuesday, Jan. 6 to open a new store in Sylacauga, expanding access to professional-grade tools for residents across Talladega County.
The store will be located at 1391 W. Fort Williams St. in Fort Williams Square and is expected to open in winter 2026. Company officials said a formal announcement with the official grand opening date will be released closer to opening.
The Sylacauga location will offer Harbor Freight’s full lineup of tools and equipment, serving both do-it-yourself customers and professional tradespeople. Products available will include Icon professional hand tools, Hercules and Bauer high-performance power tools, U.S. General tool storage solutions, Predator generators and outdoor power equipment, and Daytona floor jacks and jack stands.
Company representatives said the new store is part of Harbor Freight’s ongoing effort to make professional-quality tools more convenient and affordable for customers where they live and work.
The store is expected to create approximately 25 to 30 jobs in the Sylacauga community, contributing to local employment and retail growth.
