SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Alabama High School Graduation Exam (AHSGE) will be administered to former students this summer.
The test will only be available to former Alabama public school students who completed all courses and credits needed for graduation before exiting school but did not pass all required AHSGE sections. If a potential tester did not complete all courses required for graduation before exiting school, he or she will not be able to test until all requirements are completed.
Transcripts showing all courses and credits for a high school diploma have been completed must be provided.
On test days, the test-taker will provide a current valid government-issued photo identification before being admitted to sit for the AHSGE.
Exams will be administered June 12-15 at the following sites:
- Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind
- Pell City Board of Education
- Prattville Chapter One Center
The following subject tests will be administered on these days:
- Monday, June 12 – reading
- Tuesday, June 13 – math
- Wednesday, June 14 – language
- Thursday, June 15 – social studies
Sign in and verification will being at 8 a.m. and testing will being at 8:30 each day.
Those who need to be administered the biology test need to make arrangements to take the test on Monday – Thursday. No tests will be administered on Friday, June 16.
