TALLAPOOSA COUNTY, Ala. – A Goodwater woman is dead after a Saturtday vehicle accident.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports that 53-year-old Sharonda E. Ingram was killed when the 1998 Jeep Wrangler she was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment then overturned.
ALEA says Ingram was not using a seat belt and ejected from the vehicle.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred on Valley Grove Road near Sanford Road, approximately 12 miles east of Alex City.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
