GoFundMe started for local man who lost everything in house fire

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Aaron Davis is without a place to live after a fire destroyed his Talladega County home.

A GoFundMe fundraiser page has been started online for Davis to help him in his time of need.

The house was Davis’ home for his entire life. It was the house in which he grew up and created memories, according to the GoFundMe page. All of that was lost in a short time as the house burned.

Suzy Cryer organized the GoFundMe page, writing, “This is the hardest time of his life.”

Davis is an employee of Sylacauga Marine and ATV on Old Birmingham Hwy. The business is also taking donations for Davis as owner Ray Holmes matches all donations.

“We want to restore his hope of not being homeless through this. He appreciates any help you can give,” Cryer wrote.
