SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga High School (SHS) Aggie Theatre is bringing a neat, sweet, and petite musical treat to the SHS Performing Arts Center from May 11-14.

The Addams Family, a macabre family’s story, first opened on Broadway in New York City 13 years ago, and since then, it has been on national tours throughout the U.S. and Europe.

This local production stars the talented SHS students Phillip Butts and Sydney Leonard as Gomez and Wednesday Addams, respectively. They lead an energetic cast of young high school talent and rising stars.

The production is directed by Michaela Bird, the musical theatre teacher at SHS, who has worked closely with the students to bring their characters to life on stage.

With show times scheduled for Thursday through Sunday, this is a production that you won’t want to miss. Here’s a detailed look at show times:

Thursday, May 11 – 6:00 p.m.
Friday, May 12 – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 13 – 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 14 – 2:00 p.m.

The tickets for the show are priced at $5 for students and $10 for adults and can be purchased at the door or online at sylacaugahs.booktix.com.
