BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Prices at the gas pumps remain steady in Alabama, for now.
The AAA Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed the average price for regular unleaded in the state today is $2.82 a gallon.
That’s just about the same it was last week.
Compared to gas prices last year at this time, gasoline was about $1 cheaper, at $1.80.
Nationally, things are a little different.
The national average increased a few cents to $3.07 a gallon.
According to a Lundberg survey, gas prices increases in the near future will be small or not at all, due to decreased demand for gas.
