SYLACAUGA, Ala. – In a surprise ceremony at Front Porch Realty, realtor Ashleigh Jones was named one of the 2023 Realtor of the Year by the Alabama Housing Finance Authority (AHFA).
AHFA representatives visited Front Porch Realty to honor Jones for her exceptional commitment to clients and surpassing expectations in every aspect.
The Alabama Housing Finance Authority recognized five outstanding individuals throughout the state for 2023 including realtors Harris Baker and Jonathan Robert for closing the most mortgage loans with AHFA programs.
Jones, along with David Brown and Plychette Montgomery, helped numerous families achieve homeownership through AHFA initiatives.
Last year alone, Jones and her peers facilitated 870 families from 52 counties in becoming homeowners through AHFA’s Step Up program.
AHFA’s Step Up program, active since 2000, has empowered over 21,000 Alabama homebuyers. The funds, combined with additional grants and certificates, enhance purchasing power.
In an emotional reflection posted on social media, Jones expressed humble gratitude for the statewide recognition and talked about her passion for going above and beyond for her clients.
