TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – A late night, single vehicle crash near Childersburg has taken the life of a Sylacauga man.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) reported that the crash happened around 11:05 p.m. on Alabama State Route 76 near the 12-mile marker in Childersburg.
ALEA has identified the victim as 36-year-old James T. Trussell of Sylacauga.
Trussell was fatally injured when the concrete mixer he was driving left the road, struck a metal post, and overturned upon re-entering the roadway.
