CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Gerald Wallace and the Alice Community Center have volunteered to cover the registration cost for any child who wants to play basketball at Childersburg Parks and Recreation this year.
In order to take advantage of this, you must register through Nov. 6-8. You must also live in the school zones for either Childersburg, Winterboro, or Fayetteville.
You can register via childersburg.recdesk.com or come by the recreation center during normal business hours from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Registration ends on Friday, Nov. 8. When you see Gerald out and about, please make sure to tell him “Thank You!” for always being willing to invest in the youth of Childersburg.
This program is for kids ages 6-14, with age determined by how old you were on Sept. 1, 2024. If you play school basketball, you are eligible to play in the league, just not eligible for all-stars.
