Former Sylacauga High School athletes launch campaign for Coach Earl Lewis Foundation Chair

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga City Schools Foundation officials are encouraging all graduates of Sylacauga High School to support the creation of the proposed Coach Earl Lewis Foundation Chair.

Lewis, who spent decades serving the school system, its athletic programs, and the Sylacauga community, is being honored through a fundraising campaign organized by a growing group of former SHS athletes.

Supporters say the Foundation Chair would serve as “a very meaningful way to remember his legacy” and recognize his lasting impact on generations of students and athletes.

Donations may be made through the foundation’s website at www.scsfoundation.net by selecting the green “Donate” button in the upper-right corner, choosing “PayPal Donate,” and then selecting “Foundation Chair” from the dropdown menu.
