FLORENCE, Ala. – Former Childersburg football standout Takairee “TK” Kenebrew has made quite the impact on the gridiron, and his recent performance has earned him a well-deserved accolade.
Kenebrew, now a star receiver for the University of North Alabama (UNA), was named the first-ever United Athletic Conference (UAC) Offensive Player of the Week for his outstanding performance.
Against Chattanooga, Kenebrew showcased his incredible talent by hauling in five catches for a staggering 172 yards and three touchdowns. This remarkable feat matched his career-high for touchdowns in a single game.
UNA emerged victorious with a 41-27 win over Chattanooga, thanks in large part to Kenebrew’s contributions.
Kenebrew’s excellence on the field is not a one-time occurrence. In the 2022 season, he was an All-ASUN second-team selection and recorded 29 catches for 649 yards, averaging 22.4 yards per catch with eight touchdown receptions.
