CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The city of Childersburg was scheduled to host its first Rubber Duck Race and Family Fun Day, this upcoming Saturday. But COVID-19 had other plans.
The event was originally organized by the Kiwanis Club of Childersburg and proceeds from the event were going to be donated to help a local child in need.
“We are hoping to be able to reschedule the event for later in the year because everyone was very excited, and had already made purchases,” said Renasant Bank of Childersburg branch manager Janice Grohs. Grohs is one of the organizers of the event.
