This month’s First Responder of the Month is Chris Rogers of the Talladega County Sheriffs Office. Rogers is assigned to the Drug Task Force. He has been awarded several honors in this role. On November 14, 2019, he rescued his best friend and coworker Blake McGhee from a burning car after an accident with a log truck. Rogers was also nominated and received a life-saving award from the Alabama House of Representatives. Thank you Chris Rogers for your service!

The First Responder of the Month is presented by Radney-Smith Funeral Home. Each First Responder of the Month receives a $50 VISA gift card from First Bank of Alabama.
