First Responder of the Month (July 2021) – Tanner Cleveland

This month’s First Responder of the Month is Officer Tanner Cleveland with the Sylacauga Police Department. Cleveland is one of the newest additions to the Sylacauga Police Department staff.

“Our city, like every other city in the nation is hurting for law enforcement,” said SPD chief Kelley Johnson. “It is hard to recruit people who want to be police officers in the time we live in. Tanner and the other new staff members are already making a difference in the community.”

Cleveland is 24-years-old and is all about the people in his community.

Thank you Tanner Cleveland for your service!

The First Responder of the Month is presented by Radney-Smith Funeral Home. Each First Responder of the Month receives a $50 VISA gift card from First Bank of Alabama.
