SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Miss Sylacauga Organization has announced the first annual Miss Sylacauga Scholarship Fishing Tournament that will cast off on Saturday, June 24.
The fishing tournament, sponsored by Sylacauga Parks and Recreation, will take place at Lay Lake.
Lay Lake is well-known for its abundance of both largemouth and spotted bass.
Early registration for the tournament begins on Monday, May 1. To register, visit MissSylacauga.com.
All funds raised will go towards scholarships for the young women of Sylacauga competing in the Miss Sylacauga and Miss Sylacauga’s Outstanding Teen competitions.
