SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Coosa Valley Medical Center (CVMC) is sponsoring the first Community Links event of the year this Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 at the B.B. Comer Library in the Harry I. Brown Auditorium.
This month’s Community Links will feature Dr. David Marotta, a board certified general surgeon at CVMC discussing the benefits to minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Marotta has been serving the community since 2006. CVMC offers excellent inpatient and outpatient surgical services, and strives to provide the community with the latest technology and procedures.
Community Links is sponsored by CVMC at the B.B. Comer Library almost every month to keep the community in touch with the changing world of health care. The seminars cover a broad range of health-related subjects presented by CVMC physicians and staff, and include question and answer sessions.
“Be sure to join us on Monday at 11:00 a.m. for a complimentary lunch catered by the Hickory Street Café, and Dr. Marotta’s presentation will begin at noon,” said Lindsay Johns, the Community Outreach and Marketing Coordinator.
