SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Fed Up Shipping celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday morning, June 12.
The new shipping center is located at 10 W 1st St., adjacent to Marble City Nutrition and Mercantile on Broadway in downtown Sylacauga.
Owner D.J. Gann, along with Chamber President Laura Strickland, spoke on the new business’s commitment to providing comprehensive services to the community.
“We’re Sylacauga’s one-stop shipping center,” said Gann. “Whether you’re looking to ship a package or need a secure location to receive your latest order, we’re here to help.”
Gann also introduced the store’s beloved mascots, rescue dogs Batman and Delilah. Batman, featured on the business’s logo, and Delilah are cherished members of the Fed Up Shipping family.
Fed Up Shipping offers services from major carriers, including ground, air, and international shipping, as well as professional packing. Customers can also rent mailboxes to avoid porch pirates, with notifications available by email or text when packages arrive.
Additional services include printing, copying, scanning, faxing, notary services, and digital fingerprinting through FieldPrint.
Strickland praised Gann’s dedication and the business’s potential to enhance the local economy.
“This has been a labor of love. To see it become a reality, it really is the best feeling,” Strickland said.
