SHARE NOW

FAYETTEVILLE, Ala. – Fayetteville High School is set to host its renowned, annual Veterans Day Program on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 10:00 a.m., sponsored by the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).

This tradition spans over 60 years, making it one of the longest-running consecutive programs in Talladega County.

Veterans from across the nation, including those from as far as California, regularly attend this heartfelt event, where students from Pre-K through twelfth grade will honor their service.

Airman First Class Earl Smith, a retired U.S. Air Force member that is recognized for his involvement in the historic 1961 Broken Arrow mission in North Carolina, will be this year’s keynote speaker.

Following the program, a lunch will be served and veterans from any era, as well as current servicemen and women, are invited to attend. To RSVP, please contact the school at (256) 315-5550 or email [email protected] to ensure lunch arrangements. Event attendees are advised to park in front of the school upon arrival.
