FAYETTEVILLE, Ala. – The Fayetteville High School fishing team is set to host the first annual “Rock The ‘Ville” music festival on Saturday, March 22, at FarmLinks Field.
The event, scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m., will feature performances by Chasing Shadows, The Velcro Pygmies, and special guest Eli Thornton, a Fayetteville student.
A rain check date is set for Sunday, March 23.
Tickets are available for purchase on GoFan.co and will also be sold at the gate. The festival will include multiple vendors, concessions, and family-friendly accessories such as temporary tattoos and hair coloring as well as glow sticks.
Chasing Shadows, an Alabama-based cover band led by Brandon and Jayla Prince, will bring a mix of blues, country, and classic rock favorites. The Velcro Pygmies, a high-energy rock band from Louisville, Ky., will deliver an ‘80s rock experience.
The Fayetteville High School fishing team has been working hard and collecting sponsorships such as Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union, Wood + Rosemary, and Nikki Henderson, Relator to help make the event a success. Organizers encourage the community to come out and “Rock The ‘Ville.”
