SYLACAUGA, Ala. – In the early morning hours of Friday, Nov. 3, a single-vehicle accident on Hwy 21 near the intersection of Rocky Ridge Rd. claimed the lives of two young Sylacauga women and left one child injured.
The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m., prompting the rerouting of traffic along Hwy 21.
The vehicle involved in the accident carried three individuals: Raven Cara Simone Stone, 26, Zarria Renee Morris, 19, and Stone’s 5-year-old daughter.
Tragically, both Stone and Morris were ejected from the vehicle upon impact and were pronounced dead at the scene by Talladega County Coroner Shaddix Murphy.
Meanwhile, the 5-year-old girl was swiftly transported from the scene by the Sylacauga Ambulance Service to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham for necessary medical attention.
The bodies of Stone and Morris were respectfully taken to Community Funeral Home in Sylacauga.
The Sylacauga Police Department expressed its deepest condolences and sympathy to the grieving families of Ms. Morris and Ms. Stone during this difficult time.
