SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A new urgent care clinic, Fast Pace Health, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday morning, Jan. 17, to celebrate its official grand opening.
The clinic is located off of Hwy 280 in front of T.J. Maxx and the soon-to-open Publix.
“Fast Pace has 240 clinics throughout the Southeast,” said state director Doug DeLoach. “We appreciate you having us [in Sylacauga], and we look forward to being a part of this community.”
Sylacauga’s Fast Pace Health is the fourth to begin operations in Alabama in the last 60 days, and another eight are scheduled to be completed throughout 2023.
“We opened in Lincoln in November, Hueytown in November, and Alabaster last week,” DeLoach confirmed.
Fast Pace Health offers both walk-ins or online appointment scheduling with a wide variety of services including EKGs, X-rays, a full testing lab, and more.
“You name it, we provide it from an urgent care standpoint,” noted DeLoach. “Again, anything and everything that you need, and if we can’t handle something here, then we know the provider at the hospital to send you to.”
The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce welcomed DeLoach and the Fast Pace Health staff with a ribbon cutting on the clinic’s second day of operations after its soft opening on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
“We’re excited to be here,” said Laura Strickland, Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, “and we’re excited to have Fast Pace Health come to Sylacauga on this visible [Hwy] 280 corridor.”
Fast Pace Health in Sylacauga is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
