CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – Crowds will gather in downtown Childersburg for a traditional holiday celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 2 – the annual Christmas Tree Lighting festivities. That gets started at 6:00 p.m., but you’ll want to arrive early to get a great view at the Butler-Harris-Rainwater House.
That’s just getting started with the family fun, too.
There’ll be train rides to visit Santa’s inside his Workshop, along with Whoville in Kiwanis Park, featuring The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who.
There will also be carriage rides through the beautifully decorated “Downtown Christmasburg,” a S’mores Station at the Reindeer Barn, several hot chocolate stations, and food trucks.
You can park adjacent to City Hall in the First Baptist Church of Childersburg parking lot with bus rides to the Butler-Harris-Rainwater House and back.
