Emsculpt bus makes stop at Diamond Fitness; over 40 patients treated at event

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – In coordination with Dr. Jarod Speer and Childersburg Primary Care, the Neo Emsculpt bus made its yearly stop in Sylacauga on Friday, May 6.

Less than two weeks ago, Speer and the staff at Diamond Fitness held a day-long event with the focus centered on the Emsculpt and Emsella treatments.

Both treatments are non-invasive and are offered throughout the year by appointment through Dr. Speer at Childersburg Primary Care.

The Emsculpt machine is used to build muscle and tone the body. It is often applied to targeting abdominal fat and muscle but can also be used on calves, thighs, arms, and glutes. Dr. Speer pointed out that it’s a great tool “to get you ready for the beach.”

Emsella treatments are designed to electromagnetically stimulate the pelvic floor through contractions which re-educate the muscles of patients with urinary incontinence.

Both services were offered free of charge in the form of ten minute sessions. Over 40 people tried the two machines, and most were satisfied with how it went.

“Many noticed a difference in just the ten minutes they tried it,” said Dr. Speer. “The treatments are not painful, and there are no side effects.”

According to Dr. Speer the bus won’t be back until next year, but for those interested in the treatments, Emsculpt and Emsella are still available through Childersburg Primary Care.
