TALLADEGA COUNTY, Ala. – There are several employment opportunities coming soon throughout Talladega County.
In a Facebook post on Thursday morning, the Talladega County Sheriff’s Department announced the Talladega County Civil Service Board is accepting applications for the position of Deputy. Applications will be accepted until Feb. 26, and should be submitted to Chief Tubbs through the Sheriff’s Office. Talladega County is an equal opportunity employer.
On Feb. 27 and 28, Georgia-Pacific will be hosting a hiring event at the Hilton Garden Inn in Oxford, Alabama for the new Talladega Lumber facility. Georgia-Pacific also has job openings for Production Operators for all levels, Electrical Technicians, and Mechanical Maintenance Technicians. These are full time positions with competitive pay and benefit packages. Representatives will be at the Hilton Garden Inn from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. both days. For more information, click here.
