SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Dennis Elliott, commercial loan officer for Southern States Bank in Sylacauga, has been named the bank’s President of Talladega County.
Elliott will oversee the Sylacauga location and continue to manage the market’s commercial loan portfolio. “He has been an asset to Southern States Bank since he joined the bank in 2015 and has proven his leadership and ability to manage,” said Mark Chambers, president of Southern States Bank.
With more than 20 years of banking experience, Elliott was previously a consumer loan underwriter with Wells Fargo Bank. He serves on the board of directors of the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce and the Sylacauga Kiwanis Club. A United States Marine Corps Veteran, he earned a degree in finance from Jacksonville State University.
