LINCOLN, Ala.- A two-vehicle crash at 2:40 p.m. Monday, March 20, has claimed the life of an Eastaboga man.
State Troopers say Donald Barth Zientek, 61, was seriously injured when his 1995 Chevrolet Astro Van he was driving collided with a 1999 Perterbilt semi-trailer driven by Paul Richard Clevenger, 58, of Tennessee.
Zientek was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he later died. Clevenger, the driver of the Peterbilt was not injured in the collision.
The crash occurred on Alabama Hwy. 77 in the city of Lincoln. No more information is available at this time as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
