SYLACAUGA, Ala. – On Monday just after lunch, Sylacauga Police were led on a high-speed chase through town.

According to an on-line tip from Ronnie Craddock at 1 p.m., officers from the Sylacauga Police Department chased a silver Ford Mustang soft-top convertible through the city.

According to the photo submitted, the Mustang crashed into a utility pole in front of the Sylacauga Utilities Board after leading police down 3rd St.

The crashed vehicle was swarmed by police in both marked and unmarked cars.
