SYLACAUGA, Ala. – With Christmas only 15 days away, the clock is ticking fast for people trying to find those last-minute Christmas gifts.
What better way to handle that list-ditch effort to find the perfect gift than shopping comfortably and locally in the third annual Downtown Pajama Party this week.
“This is an opportunity to promote Christmas shopping with our local retailers while everyone wears their Christmas pajamas for a fun and relaxed evening of shopping,” said Executive Director at the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce, Laura Strickland.
Participating vendors in the event this year are; Buttons and Bows, The Lily, Trailwares, Cuppa Grace, Peddler Paula’s and Yoder.
According to Strickland, the vendors will offer refreshments and goodies such as milk and cookies or cider. Some vendors will even be staying open later than usual.
“It creates an opportunity for the community to gather and celebrate the season and complete their Christmas shopping,” said Strickland. “We encourage everyone to come out and bring your children and share your pictures.”
The Downtown Pajama Party is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 12, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
