LINCOLN, Ala. – Dovetail Landing, a veteran support organization located in Lincoln and future statewide support hub for military veterans and their families, has announced a significant donation of $100,000 from The Noble Foundation.
The presentation is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 11 at Daniel’s House, located on the Dovetail Landing campus.
This generous donation will fund the creation of a dedicated flag monument for the campus adorned with flags representing all six branches of the United States military.
The Noble Foundation stands behind Dovetail Landing’s mission to honor and support veterans and military personnel, particularly those who may need a safe space to heal and recover. This donation represents The Noble Foundation’s dedication to enriching programs that benefit those who have bravely served our country.
“We are deeply grateful to The Noble Foundation for their support,” said retired U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. Robert Holmes, the Executive Director of Dovetail Landing. “This meaningful donation will enable us to create a memorial as a daily reminder and tribute to the selfless service and sacrifice of our Veterans, service members, and their families.”
Founded in November 2022, Dovetail Landing is a crucial support hub for veterans transitioning to civilian life. They offer a range of services including veteran support, workforce training, educational opportunities, and community engagement initiatives.
The introduction of a flag monument will enhance the center’s goals of improving camaraderie and solidarity among service members.

The installation of the flags is scheduled to commence in the early spring of 2025, with completion expected by early summer 2025.
