SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The First Bank of Alabama Adult Brown Bag Lecture Series will continue Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the B.B. Comer Memorial Library with storyteller and actress Dolores Hydock as the featured speaker.

Hydock will present “Eglamore and Cristobel: A Love Story From Long, Long Ago,” a dramatic retelling of a 15th-century tale of star-crossed lovers, treachery, and the triumph of true love.

The program will take place in the Harry I. Brown Auditorium at 12:00 p.m., with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. for visiting and socializing.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch; bottled water will be provided, and Coosa Valley Medical Center’s Hickory Street Café will offer fresh-baked cookies.

Hydock, based in Irondale, is known nationally for her one-woman storytelling performances and frequent appearances at the National Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough, Tenn.
