SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has reported a shooting in Sylacauga on Wednesday evening involving a State Trooper. No details have been released, but Corporal Jimmy Harrell Jr. of ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division and ALEA-State Bureau of Investigation Lieutenant John Riley have scheduled a Thursday morning press conference in Birmingham.
