SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Do you have prescription drugs that you no longer need? National Prescription Drug Take Back Day will be held nationwide, Saturday, Oct. 24 beginning at 10 a.m.

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day addresses a crucial public safety and public health issue.

The Drug Take Back Day provides opportunities for Americans to prevent drug addiction and overdose deaths.

Sylacauga Police Department told SylacaugaNews.com they will not be meeting individuals this year to pickup drugs, due to COVID-19, however the police station will have a drop off box.
